Something a little personal...
Making choices everyday...recently I have been thinking about the choice in my words and how they affect my overall emotional state. As a mom of three, I am often saying "I have to..." From "I have to make dinner." to "I have to do the laundry." These "I have to" statements are constant. When I say "I have to" there's a burden or heaviness that goes with those words but when I say "I choose to" it changes my heart and mind for that situation. I choose to make dinner so that my family with eat healthier and we will save money. I could order out every night but we would be in a financial mess and I'd probably get tired of Chinese food, pizza or french fries. And so, "I choose to" is one way to help me handle the stress of the day to day.
