Campus Kids-NJ is the "weekday sleep-away camp": Monday to Friday at camp AND home with the family on weekends, transportation included.  Offering sessions of 2 weeks or longer, this is the ideal way to start your sleep-away camp experience.
Each camper chooses his/her own activities every day!  Activities include swimming, squash (7 courts), basketball, soccer, tennis (10 courts), ultimate Frisbee, archery, fencing, softball, yoga, volleyball, skateboarding, gymnastics, lacrosse, field hockey, ceramics, painting, drawing, photography, crafts, rocketry, drama, dance, guitar, drums, and more.  Instruction provided in all activities while maintaining a low-competitive philosophy.  Emphasis is on having fun, trying new things and supporting individual choices.  Active, involved staff puts physical and emotional safety first.
Our camp site is the outstanding rural campus of Blair Academy in Blairstown, providing superb facilities.  Transportation is provided from convenient pick-up points on Monday mornings, returning Friday evenings.  Camp bus stops are in Bergen County as well as most northern NJ counties, Manhattan, Rockland and Westchester.
Camp tuition is lower the earlier you sign up, but averages $1,200 week.  Tuition is all-inclusive (no extra food or snack charges, no program charges, no transportation charges).  Tipping of staff is not permitted.  Camper ages are 8 to 15.  (Note to teens: we have LOTS of teens in camp.)
We've been an ACA-Accredited camp since our first summer in 1991.  Please call/write to schedule a private tour for your family on a Saturday or Sunday (or visit camp in action during the summer).  We'd love to tell you more about camp and what your child hopes to find at camp this summer.

Business Review

"What I like best about Campus Kids is my daughter's total and complete comfort level and happiness.  She tells everyone about what a fantastic, wonderful, super, great camp she goes to in the summer.  She is so very happy there and she has grown in so many ways as a result of going to a sleep-away camp.  Everything from the food, activities, counselors, campers, nurses, directors to the bus ride-it is all simply the best.  I think the bunk group meetings are very helpful to each of the campers.  I know at night when she would call home, it was so important for her to quickly talk because she had to get to her meeting." "I just wanted to thank you and the rest of the staff for making our son's first sleep-away camp experience so successful.  Prior to camp he never had a successful sleepover - even at a friend's house.  This experience was great for his self esteem.  He also had a great time and enjoyed the many activities - I think he tried everything (except yoga) !  I too was most impressed with the way the camp is run, the responsiveness of the staff, the quality of the activities and the facilities.   (parent of an 11-year-old boy)
