Looking for summer camps in New City, Nyack, or anywhere in Rockland County, NY—and not sure where to begin? You’re not alone! Spots fill quickly, and planning ahead makes all the difference. Our 2026 Macaroni KID Summer Camp Guide is here to make the process simple and stress-free. From traditional day camps and sleepaway adventures to specialized programs, our area is packed with incredible options for every interest and age.
Start by asking yourself one key question: What type of camper is your child?
Do they thrive outdoors, exploring nature trails and getting their hands dirty? Would they rather spend the day on the field playing their favorite sport—or learning a new one? Are they drawn to music, art, STEM, or theater? Or maybe they love a little bit of everything!
It’s also important to think about your family’s schedule and budget. Some camps offer flexible week-by-week registration, while others run in half-day or full-day sessions. Depending on the camp, you may also find added conveniences like round-trip transportation, lunch and snacks, extended care before or after camp, inclusive programming, and more.
With a little planning and the right information, you’ll find the perfect fit—and give your child a summer they’ll never forget.
