Also this summer, families can enjoy a summer luau, complete with pineapple bowling, a luau performance and lessons; classes for “mini-musicians” who will play child-sized cellos and violins; visits to historic regions of the USA and even celebrate the 100th Birthday of Raggedy Ann, with a very special Storybook Pajama Party in August! Did you know that Raggedy Ann was “born” right here in Norwalk, CT?

Mega Making, open June 13 to Labor Day, is the museum's newest exhibit experience! Using real materials and real tools, young makers can explore art, textiles, construction and woodworking, tinkering and gadgets and a variety of materials, techniques and projects! Our staff members are here to help children and families get started, whether it's working a needle and thread for the first time, practicing using wrenches and screwdrivers, tinkering with batteries and buzzers or picking out the perfect artist medium. There's something for everyone to try and to make! It's a mega-awesome experience.
