Led by New City's own, Coach Mike Girling, Rockland Soccer Academy is a fundamental skill based soccer program for boys and girls of all ages. Developed for and based in Rockland County, RSA's programs are focused on both soccer and personal development, while providing our players with fun, safe and athletically enriching atmosphere.

With a core belief that soccer should be both fun and fundamentals, Coach Mike and his team stress the virtues of team play while providing each player with an individual program to maximize his or her skill set. Each program/class is customized with a targeted curriculum that ensures that all players are challenged based on each child's goals.
WHO IS COACH MIKE? Mike Girling is a qualified coach and official for over 14 years, holding the English Football Association Player Development Badge. Mike is the current Head Coach at Camp Winadu, one of Americas finest full season sports summer camps. And, the rest of the year, Coach Mike, his wife and 2 daughters are often seen out and about in Rockland County.

- MINI STRIKERS: 3’s & 4’s: Mini Strikers program is an exciting and fun introduction to soccer. Our Mini Strikers will participate in a Skills based session and delivered using age appropriate games and techniques. Kids learn to control the ball, how to kick and move with the ball.... and so much more. Classes: Saturday at 9:15am and Thursday at 1:30pm. - JUNIOR STRIKERS: K–3rd GRADE: Junior Strikers is an introduction into competitive soccer. A balance between fun games and drills and real game time play, the Juniors will learn what it means to be part of a team, while in a safe and fun environment. - TRAVEL TEAMS: RSA provides private teams and clubs with qualified and experienced coaching to train your players 1-2 times a week, coach the team on games days and for select tournaments. Proven results in Mike’s approach to professional coaching allows teams to develop and grow their skills together on a solid foundation of excellent soccer training. Having this interaction will allow Coach Mike/RSA to get to know the individual players personalities on both a professional and personal level. The season long program allows the personal attention that they need to feel good about themselves as individuals and as a team.
- PRIVATE SOCCER LESSONS & SMALL GROUP TRAINING: Rockland Soccer Academy offers individual & small group training programs to players of all ages and ability levels. With each session tailored towards the individual or group, it allows us to work on specific areas of the game, which would be difficult to teach in a large team environment.
