REVIEW:
Let me start off by being completely honest. I am a mother of 3, a full time teacher, co-publisher for New City Nyack Macaroni Kid, and I am very busy. My make-up routine is very quick and easy and to be honest, I have worn mascara for years, and I don't think anyone could tell.
I heard about Younique's Moodstruck 3D Fiber Mascara from a friend and she said that it really worked but that she only used it when she was going out. She has long lashes naturally, so she doesn't need them on a daily basis. I, on the other hand, could use some eyelashes everyday. So I was eager to try the 3D mascara. I've tried my fair share of mascaras out there that thicken, lengthen, curl and more and they didn't really work. My short eyelashes and I wanted to see if the 3D Fiber mascara would work for me. DAY ONE: The Younique's Moodstruck 3D Fiber lashes came in the mail and I had to experiment with it right away. I quickly watched a few youtube videos to see how other people applied the mascara and I tried it myself. Remember, as a mom of three, I had the 8 year old boy watching me out of the corner of his eye, my 5 year old daughter practically on top of me wanting to see it all and my 3 year old son running around, stopping to watch and then running around some more.
I tried the mascara on one eye and from across the room, my husband could see the difference! I was so excited to try it for work the next day!
DAY TWO & THREE: I applied the mascara in the morning, it took a little longer than usual because I didn't want to mess up or make a mess on my face. I was also afraid of putting on too much so I tried to just do a little to see if anyone could tell. Well, I went through my entire day and no one said anything. After revealing to my friend that I was wearing it, she said, you have to put on more! So the next day, I went all out and made my lashes truly 3D! The funny thing is, people NOTICED, but they didn't say anything at first. When I finally said, "Do you notice anything about my eyes?" Responses like, "Yeah, you're wearing mascara! It looks pretty."
I continued to wear the mascara daily and I was getting used to the extra step in the morning because there are two tubes: a transplanting gel and the fibers. Once my eyelashes got used to being straight and a little curled everyday, it was easier to apply. My eyelashes needed some training in this experiment.

So there were a few other things to note while I used the Moodstruck 3D Fiber Mascara this week.
1. I LOVE having eyelashes.
2. It does not smudge, fall off or flake throughout my entire day.
3. It REALLY is water resistant. I was in a swimming pool and someone jumped in right in front of me and my eyelashes! But I still looked beautiful!
4. It looks natural. I was so afraid of looking like I was wearing way TOO much make up or having ugly clumpy eyelashes, but it was so natural that some people didn't notice until I asked them to look carefully at my eyes.
5. Even though Younique says you can wash it off with facewash and water, I needed to use an eye make up remover which is probably better for my skin and eyelashes anyway.
6. The case is really perfect for holding the tubes and keeping my make up organized helps me get it on my face easier in the morning.
7. I will continue to use this product because it works and I like having eyelashes!
